Summer Tablescapes

I love entertaining outdoors. A garden provides a beautiful backdrop in itself, but I also like to put a little effort into decorating the table. Whether throwing a casual dinner party or hosting a holiday cookout with family and friends, below are tablescapes that are sure to impress your summertime guests.

Hydrangeas are synonymous with summertime. Cut the blooms straight from your garden and accentuate using another bloom like the “clematis ovation” below.

For the Fourth of July, festively add American flags.

This tablescape at an event at North Corner Haven incorporates whimsical flowers such as the “eryngium” below.

I’ve had some luck finding this variety at my local Trader Joes,

For a monochromatic look, pair a blue tablecloth with blue hydrangeas.

For something different, incorporate fresh fruit like lemons into the tablescape.

It makes me think of the Amalfi coast and limoncello.

A centerpiece can be something as simplistic as a bunch of olive branches.

You know I can never get enough of blue + white.
