Summer Tablescapes

I love entertaining outdoors and using a variety of summer tablescapes. A garden provides a beautiful backdrop in itself, but I also like to put a little effort into decorating the table. Whether throwing a casual dinner party or hosting a holiday cookout with family and friends, below are tablescapes that are sure to impress your summertime guests.

Hydrangeas are synonymous with summertime. Cut the blooms straight from your garden and accentuate using another bloom like the “clematis ovation” below.

For the Fourth of July, festively add American flags.

This tablescape at an event at North Corner Haven incorporates whimsical flowers such as the “eryngium” below.

I’ve had some luck finding this variety at my local Trader Joes,

For a monochromatic look, pair a blue tablecloth with blue hydrangeas. Blue and white is always a classic, you can never go wrong with this look.

The chair seats at the table match the tablecloth which is a great way to keep design uniformity.

For something different, incorporate fresh fruit like lemons into the summer tablescape.

It makes me think of the Amalfi coast and limoncello.

A centerpiece can be something as simplistic as a bunch of olive branches.

Summer TablescapesYou know I can never get enough of blue + white.
