It had great bones and high ceilings. She had just bought it and we had some great conversations for where we saw this going. I wanted to take down the walls and create a large space into the dining room. Anything would be an upgrade from the dated appliances, kitchen flooring and DR wallpaper. We had a good project ahead of us…

I was very happy with the end result and so was she.  The kitchen is small but doesn’t feel small. The extra deep countertop allows for a great workspace while food is being prepared and also serves as a buffet counter when entertaining. The cabinet that looks built in at the end is the fridge so the space is not choppy. There are under counter storage is on both sides and there was still room for a small wine fridge. There are lots of ways to have a wonderful kitchen when space is tight!
