Mad For Plaid

by Laura Casey Interiors on November 14, 2013

Plaid is always a staple during fall and winter in clothing and holiday decor, but it seems to be particularly popular for interiors this year. It can be used in small doses or it can set the tone for an entire space. These rooms make me mad for plaid!

Tone-on-tone plaid wallpaper helps create a calming backdrop for this monochromatic bedroom.

The neutral plaid used on these canopy beds is subtle and sophisticated.

Using a large-scale plaid on the floor can help define a space without feeling too busy.

Window treatments are a great way to introduce a plaid pattern into a room.

Floor-to-ceiling plaid adds height and plenty of visual interest.

For just a pop of this pattern, try adding a pair of pillows or a throw.

If you want to start small, use a plaid tablecloth to add instant style to any holiday meal.

Are you mad for plaid this year too?
