Love this look. I was just debating doing it in our stairs but I see something here that our stairs don’t have – black steps in addition to the railing to tie it all together…I love this look but don’t think it will work in my situation…I’ll have to keep brainstorming!
This makes me miss my Charlotte home. We had a beautiful entryway with a black and white marble floor, so we did paint the bannister black, which made it pop. The stair runner was trimmed in black as well. It was a dramatic entry way…whereas my one now is so much smaller and not a lick of black.
