Valentine’s Day

by laura on February 14, 2012

This Valentine’s day I thought it would be fun to highlight some  red or pink furniture. Can’t think of much else that would grab your attention like a bright red piece of furniture or appliance in a home. A pink icebox is unexpected and a red glossy cabinet is so sharp!

This large curved banquette creates lots of seating and add some visual flair!

Stand out hot pink.

Not 1 pink Kitchen Aid blender but 2!

There are lots of sweet pink touches in this bedroom, but I really like the hot pink canopy!

And some soft pink which is sharp with the black welt.

Such great images!! I don’t think I would ever be brave enough to do this in my main house, but how fun to do it in a cottage, or vacation home!!!!

Happy Valentine’s Day, Laura!
Guess what? see that amazing fabric in the 4th picture. Its M. Canovus and I just scored one and a half yards of this. A designer friend and I traded some remnants. Its at the workroom being made into a roman shade for my kitchen. Love!

I think a pale blush sofa would be gorgeous! My Aunt has one in pink linen and it is to die for!
