Seeing Greenery

by Laura Casey Interiors on September 22, 2011

It’s interesting to see how greenery and flowers can enhance a room or a photograph.

The tree adds a subtle and natural color to this living room.

Large cut lilies are pretty in this blue and white vase.

Different colored flowers would change this shot.

I love how these yellow flowers add an instantaneous burst of color to the all white kitchen.

Not quite so bright, these complementary cut flowers are pretty in this bedroom.

These flowering branches are pretty with the wallpaper behind, and they certainly add height to this photograph.

This large arrangement also makes a strong impact in this shot.

I love this pretty bouquet.

Isn’t it interesting to see how one addition can so greatly change a shot?

I think so.

Hi Laura,
Yes indeed! I can not miss some green or flowers in my home! If they aren’t there, something is missing!!

Laura,
I am anxious to get the “green light” to move into my new addition and add a bowl of limes, some fresh cut greenery and some metallic pumpkins….!
Pop over friday to see my greenery.

I love greenery in a room. A room without plants is a room without life to it!!! You showed some great examples, Kathysue

Your right, plants, flowers, a bowl of lemons bring a room to life. Love all the examples you showed us.

Love the large arrangement in the Elle Decor shot. It adds so much drama for not a lot of money. We love doing large scale arrangements like that with simple cherry branches from the garden.
Thanks for the great post.

Laura, I completely agree. I often examine a photo to see what the interiors would look like without the fresh foliage. Usually…it’ a huge difference, if for just the pop of color it can provide.
