I’ve been shopping for a fixture to hang over the island in a client’s kitchen. It’s a long island with tall ceilings so getting the proportions right is important. I love the look of a longer fixture,
an industrial lamp in brass…
or nickel.
Lanterns look great over an island, too.
When I renovated this kitchen, we decided to let the vintage fixture remain which keeps in character with the house.
I am thinking long and pretty. You’ll see the kitchen and the rest of the house soon!

I will soon be making a similiar deicions and am thinking of going wtih a pair of oversized lanterns in either an aged bronze or aged brass finish…I want something “French” looking. I love the looks you showed above..and look forward to seeing what you decide!
