Influenced by colonial British rule, Karen Blixen’s home in Africa is just as one might imagine.

We visited Karen’s house when we went to Africa on our honeymoon! It was beautiful and timeless. We could live there today… but I do need to watch the movie again!

Love that movie! One of my favorite scenes is when she has the staff wear gloves to serve food, funny! I’ll have to revisit the movie and pay particular attention to the house. Great post!

Classic movie!!!! I wasn’t sure about the Back Up Plan, which just came out on dvd….but it was cute. I also love The Hangover. I can see that over and over. Neither are classics, but both made me smile!
