I have been working on a few bedrooms this summer and have had my eye on four poster beds….
with and without the canopy.

loved everything in the third image – such an updated look for the poster bed but I REALLY love the fourth one (Elle Decor). It looks like an iron interpretation of the four poster. wonderful!

Is there a way to go wrong with a canopy? Not here!!!
I have really thought of doing some kind of fabric on my 4 poster …it is traditional and can use a fresh up!

I have a four poster without the canopy and just soft tie on cotton voile sheers at the head of the bed. I love it!! It gives architecture to the room and just makes the bed feel more special, I guess. Love all the images you have shown,Kathysue

I have one in my guest room without a canopy.
I loved the canopy when I was a little girl, because it was like playing tent.
Now not so much. All that fabric to catch dust kind of puts me off.
