I really love how interior screens can add so much to a room. They are a great way to decoratively fill an odd corner or a large bare wall. They speak for themselves…
Agreed?

I really like that screen in the second to the last image, yum.
Hope you are surviving this HOT summer, Laura!
Love those screens. They really do add to the ambience of a room.
Your posts are always so inspiring.
Lovely!

beautiful!!
Beautiful! I’m trying to gather ideas for decorating my studio apartment and a screen sounds like the perfect fit!
love that nail head screen!

Laura, great eye to pick up on the screen in image seven!
I think it is funny how screens seem like such an unusual idea, yet so wonderful. People should use them more often.
Another great post. I have had the luck of placing the mahogany and glass screen from Century Furniture a few times. Maybe one day I’ll earn enough credits to purchase my own
Agreed! They add an element of intrigue and mystery to any room.
I love using screens in projects. They really made a space more intimate, and it’s a great way to make difficult areas of the room. My mother owned a chinoiserie screen in soft corals and golds, and it hung over her sofa for years. I guess that I have a little nostalgia when it comes to a pretty screen.
I bought a beautiful, antique, french blue-grey screen once but sold it because I was so unsure of how to use it. Should’ve asked you!
Beautiful images. The nailhead screen is my favorite.
#1 and #6 are just beautiful Laura!! I love them all but the two of those are definitely my favorite!!
I’ve always been intimidated in using them….these images give great ideas on how/where to use them!!
Couldn’t agrre more…love screens! And, these were all new images to me…the first was my fav!

Laura, I have a dark background with floral painted screen that I am really tired of. I have thought about repainting it. I may have it covered in fabric now that I see some great examples! The Mirrored one is beautiful also!

Love those post, I’ve been wondering lately if there’s a place for one in my living room! Great inspiration.
Love those screens. They’re pretty art-deco, which is so huge right now! http://bit.ly/d2x8uz
