on the wall

Looking to enhance a wall without paint or paper? Here are some good ideas I have seen while reading a few of my favorite blogs…I saw this photo on Material Girls

Style Court encouraged her readers to take a closer look at the

wall in John Dowd’s home styled by Carlos Mota.

Lauren’s Pure Style Home husband stenciled this whole wall.

Lauren’s husband deserves a “best hubby” award for his stenciling job. It looks amazing and really gave their room a finished look.
Using branches is truly inspired!

Great ideas, with a small change the whole space looks different. Love the branches behind the oil painting.

Thanks for putting together such a great list of alternative wall decor ideas. I am always on the look out for unique ways to dress up rooms. Similar to Lauren’s stenciled room, I hand-painted my favorite wallpaper design on my dining room walls because I couldn’t afford the Farrow and Ball paper. I’m pretty happy with the result: http://www.apennysavedblog.com/2009/08/dining-room-tour.html
I might have to try Jenny’s happy tape sometime too!
