I love pattern, but have a bit of a commitment problem and never end up going bold. However, I love idea of framed pattern on a wall as a good compromise- plus it would be an easy way to personalize our rental.

More and more I have just started to realize! I think my bedroom when it gets its new makeover will be all white with splashes of bold colors & great patterns. I LOVE the desk with the Suzani fabric on the bench and the lovely fabric on the wall! Happy rest of the week, friend. OX Mo

Yep, I’m a pattern person also. Such perfect examples Laura. Oh, and Aleta is a super-nice person too! Even though she is in London, ordering from the U.S. is easy.

Yes, I love pattern! I am especially fond of John Robshaw’s designs. Katherine Ireland’s new line is to die for – oh my, I want some of each!

I have rolls of old wallpaper I used in our house about 16 years ago and I still love the patterns and can’t bear to throw them away. You have given me a new idea of how to still enjoy them. As always, Laura, great post.

I love the way certain designers can introduce a pattern and make me want to follow suit.
That said, I love classic patterns, like paisleys, stripes and checks.
One designer who does it well is Katie Ridder. Of course, Steven does it well too.
Love the scale of the pattern in that first image!

I love the 2nd bedroom, fabulous, and yes the last image of fabric is to die for!!! I prefer small amounts of wallpaper. A powder room, a special wall, etc.

I am a lees is more on pattern! Every room needs a little for interest, but too much can be well, too much! Love your suggestion/images.
