The range of available bathtubs always continues to amaze me. This waterworks tub is in Ina Garten’s “barn” that was featured in October 2008 HB and is one of my favorites.
Waterworks also make a nice repro of the old clawfoot tub.
I grew up with an old bathtub like this in my bathroom and loved it.
Bathtubs come in an array of materials and prices,
this one has a beautiful copper outside with a tin interior.
This one is quite funky looking and is made with wood (walnut, beech or teak).
Custom made Art-Deco style tub encased in leather.

I love the eclectic look of this bathroom.

This is a great way to sneak around where the plumbing wall are, and I like that is a bit unexpected.

This wall mural was done by Surface View. I could have used this in my bathroom in NYC.

thanks for coming clean…..in a tub! I love old fashioned tubs…and then japanese tubs are really inspiring to me…have you ever seen them? They make such sense.

Thanks for the mention of Surfaces. I hadn’t heard of the site before but find their images fascinating!
I love the last photo, cool way to hang out in nature.
I love these tubs! The first one is my favorite…what Metal is that? Also love the copper tub…I would love to take a bubble bath in one of those elegant ones!
I absolutely love the eclectic bathroom. It looks so comfy.
Love the Waterworks Candide tub in the first photo. We see this in homes we photograph all the time. When my husband and I were doing a bath renovation, I priced it because I’ve wanted it for so long. Needless to say I couldn’t get over how much it was…sadly had to go with re-enameling our old clawfoot tub. It looks great again but I still dream about this one.
I so enjoyed the various tub designs!
Thanks for posting these great pictures! It’s so interesting to see / think about so many different options!
