in the bath…

The range of available bathtubs always continues to amaze me. This waterworks tub is in Ina Garten’s “barn” that was featured in October 2008 HB and is one of my favorites.

Waterworks also make a nice repro of the old clawfoot tub.

I grew up with an old bathtub like this in my bathroom and loved it.

this one has a beautiful copper outside with a tin interior.

This one is quite funky looking and is made with wood (walnut, beech or teak).

I love the eclectic look of this bathroom.

This is a great way to sneak around where the plumbing wall are, and I like that is a bit unexpected.

This wall mural was done by Surface View. I could have used this in my bathroom in NYC.

I love these tubs! The first one is my favorite…what Metal is that? Also love the copper tub…I would love to take a bubble bath in one of those elegant ones!

Love the Waterworks Candide tub in the first photo. We see this in homes we photograph all the time. When my husband and I were doing a bath renovation, I priced it because I’ve wanted it for so long. Needless to say I couldn’t get over how much it was…sadly had to go with re-enameling our old clawfoot tub. It looks great again but I still dream about this one.
