is this little gem. I spent my summers growing up in the Catskill Mountains of upstate NY, and I will be up there in July. According to Country Living, this adorable 900 sq ft. cottage is somewhere up there so I might go on a bit of a hunt and knock on the door.

Wouldn’t you? Originally it was an 1840’s Federal Style schoolhouse.
I love the yellow door and green railing. Click for interiors.

I’m very excited for our cottage hunt in July!
How incredibly charming. Yes, the yellow door and green railing are so much fun.
I’ve always wanted to visit the Catskills. For now I will just have to live vicariously through you!

I love the yellow door and green railing, but the real treat is the interior! What a fabulous job they did and with so much great color. I, too, will live vicariously through your travels – where are we going in July?
I actually, would be so happy with a little cottage like this. but then I also want a pool and patio. some sun…….that’s all I need.
That is just a cute cottage on the photo!
I want to join in on the hunt, too! *sigh* I will have to be content to provide technical assistance from the Twilight Midwest station.
We spend the Winter weekends in the Catskills and I am happy to provide you with a list of fun spots to go to. I love it there, it is peaceful and unpretentious.
I think this house is in “Woodstock” but I will check with another source!
