While I love the look of wallpaper to set the tone for a room

In small doses it can make for chic and economical decorating solutions.
An easily made folding screen behind the bed

In the back of built-ins, bookcases or shelving

In panels made with some cut fiberboard and small moldings

inside a drawer as liner (possibly leading to more organized drawers)

a great redo inside a fold front desk

so clever up the riser

on a lampshade

on one wall

or make your own art

there are lots of ways to get creative with wallpaper.
Let me know if you have any!

great website! i can’t remember where i found it, but i had actually bookmarked a room that you designed and then i saw it on your website today. wild. anyway, i love the idea of using wallpaper! i’m soon to be moving into my first home and am thinking about the decor. it’s a small house, but has a greatroom combining the kitchen, living and dining areas. any ideas for a subtle, but fun design for one wall behind the dining room table? i think anything too bold would be too much for this greatroom. any website suggestions? thanks!
I just came by from Erika’s site and am enjoying a few calm minutes on your site before I have to take all of the kids to school.
I am a big fan of wallpaper. I never thought of papering the risers of a stair case, but I really like it.
Love the idea of wallpapering the back of book cases as well.
