Color Me Happy

by laura on February 23, 2009

I love color, pattern and texture in a range of styles. I grew up in an old house with beautiful colors on the walls and ceilings. Studies have shown that living with color can increase ones happiness and mood. People also find comfort in color that is familiar and uplifting.

Color gives a big boost whether the style is a little more contemporary

If you aren’t planning on painting anytime soon, even a few bright additions can be cheery.

Colorful outdoor chairs and cushions.

Martha Stewart’s book collection in her office is right up my alley

I love to get a hand written note in the mail. What better way to do it than with

some colorful stationery from Periwinkle Papers.

The color experts atPantone have made YELLOW the “it” color for 2009.

Sounds like good old sunshine and flowers to me.
