Moving into top place on my reading list is The Women by T.C. Boyle. It is the complete story of Frank Lloyd Wright’s stormy love life. Penelope Rowlands at the Wall St. Journal calls it “riveting”. She writes “Despite dozens of writers’ attempts to capture Wright’s story, it seems safe to say that none has rendered it with more crackling life than Mr. Boyle.”

If you haven’t read Nancy Horan’s Loving Frank yet, I highly recommend it.

The Women is now on my to-read list! Interesting and scandelous!
I’ve read both the Frank LLoyd Wright books and found them very interesting. My design Professor preached Wright’s design process and style and it has stuck with me through out my career. When I met a builder who thought the same way, we started a new design company called Prairie Manor Homes and Design. FLW was quite a character in private but then again, a lot of creative people are! Enjoyed both books and hope you do too.
