At about thirteen my idea of fun was rearanging my bedroom furniture. At fourteen I didn’t like the paint trim on my dressing table lamps so I redid it myself and a few other things. Soon after that I was hired to be an intern at my neighbor’s interior design firm. I organized all of the fabric samples and furniture binders. I loved it. Thanks to Laurie Finn at La Jolie Maison in Summit, NJ I got my start, and I worked for her through college. Following my graduation from Vanderbilt University, I went to The New York School of Interior Design. While in New York City I worked for Terry Sullivan (who got her start at Parrish-Haddley), Victoria Hagan at Victoria Hagan Interiors and Ellie Cullman at Cullman & Kravis. I learned so much from working at each firm and felt ready to start my own business. Some images from Cullman & Kravis and Victoria Hagan Interiors.
In my free time I love to be with my husband and my two sons.
